Earlier this week, I received a notice that a parcel was waiting for my at Customs in Port Louis. On Saturday, Hubby and me decided to take the opportunity for an outing, and went to fetch the parcel in Port Louis. I did not however, think this would be waiting for me...
Binne-in was die volgende:
Inside were the following:
10 meter se watteersel; en
10 meter batting; and
...hierdie lieflike materiale.
...these lovely fabrics. They are for one of the projects planned for this year. These will be used in the quilt for my youngest brother. I have the following pattern in mind:
The lighter shade of orange and yellow will come from my stash.
I am having a bit of a problem.
Mother Nature is against me! Each year it is the same story, and each
year Nature is getting more creative. This year is the worst: the birds
decided to build their nests in our house. They are very cute, but I
don't think it is the best idea to build nests in our bathroom window,
or in the curtains:
Like I said, they are cute...but they can't build there! We will see who wins...
Tot later! / Until later!
OMGosh! That big parcel, with lots of goodies inside! Lovely fabrics, they will go beautifully with the pattern!
ReplyDeleteCan't help it but laugh of those birds! They are very clever and always look for the best place to build their nest. But in the curtain... that's the best! :)Love the photo of the one that is looking at you! :)
Hi, thank you for visiting my site and for the encouragement while I was gone. What kind of birds are nesting in your home? Boy oh boy ... good luck wildlife can be very stubborn about what they do and when and why. Keep us posted
ReplyDeletep.s. Those fabrics are to die for (so to speak)!!!! They look silky ... are they?
most probably your MARTIN (local name for these birds) Indian MYNAH in fact, are just young adults trying their skills at architecture...and they will go away after a few trials....otherwise , if they decide to stay, you will need HELP ...a cat, can be of some use....!!
