Hallo Blogland!
Many of you probably thought that I disappeared from the face of the earth? But, I am still here and ready to pick up where I left everything.
Since I fell pregnant, time for myself took a knock. The pregnancy drained my energy and since our dear son (DS) was born, all of my available time has gone into looking after him. But, as DS is getting bigger and learning to do things on his own (like playing on his own for short periods), time for myself is becoming more and more available. Instead of starting a new project, I decided to work on some UFO's...or at least so I thought.
A short while ago, I read about carbon paper that you can use to transfer patterns onto dark fabric. I had to get myself some of this, off course, and give it a try. I bought a sampler pack in March, together with some leather thimbles, and the parcel only arrived today.
While I waited for the carbon paper to arrive, I pulled the unfinished block for the Christmas embroidery quilt from the closet. I thought that it would be a great project to start off with again, since I can pick it up and put it down as necessary, while DS keeps me busy. Unfortunately, the block has only stared at me. I haven't worked on it at all, not even one single stitch.
So, nou is die vraag: watter projek gaan wen - die donker materiaal projek of die Kerskwilt?
Tot later!
So, now the question begs: which project is going to win - the dark fabric project or the Christmas quilt?
Until later!
There you are back in blogland! Have missed you here! :) I bet you will work on both! :) Enjoy your weekend!
