I think I am beginning to understand the idea of paper piecing. My NYB block 3 (by Megan from Canoe Ridge Creations) came out great. But, I must also say thank you to those who advised me after my last blog entry. Your suggestions helped a lot!
After my success, I decided to redo the previous block. This time I am satisfied with the result. I removed the orange and substituted it with yellow. I also changed the silver and pink around. This is still a busy block, but this time I like it.
And here they are together...this is going to be a very busy quilt :)
We took a lovely drive this past weekend. We passed through Baie du Cap, amongst others. I must admit that I have been to this village a few times, but this is the first time that I spotted their post office! It is so small (and cute) that it is no wonder I missed it the previous times. Our post office is small (two counters, a few post boxes and a storage room), but this one seems even smaller!
Nou-ja, eers weer tyd vir werk. Groete!
Well, time for work again. Regards!
