This month has really flown by! It's time again for the next Bloggers' BOM! Here is my version of block 3:
Edit: Blok deur Stephanie by Loft Creations / Block by Stephanie at Loft Creations
I changed the layout a bit. The blocks as per the pattern did not work for me.
Soos per patroon / As per pattern
Vir 'n gesoute kwilter is hierdie seker 'n "no brainer", maar vir my was dit 'n Eureka oomblik.
I also finally figured out how the Square up ruler actually works. It made life so much easier. For a well set quilter, this is a no brainer, but for me this was an Eureka moment. Normally I use the square ruler to cut smaller blocks and pieces - and not necessarily only squares.
Remember the give away of the Scrapbooking software. The draw takes place this weekend!
Dis dit vir eers! Groete!
That is it for now! Regards!
I really like your take on block 3! Thank you for visiting and commenting! Yes, I agree this one should be named Ripper Duty.
ReplyDeleteEurekamomenten, heerlijk.
I had to cut some pieces a second time to get everything to fit well. I thought I just cut wrong. Maybe it wasn't me after all! Your blocks look great!
ReplyDeleteAwesome blocks! I really like the design. Such soothing color choices as well.
ReplyDeleteLovely blocks! I just haven't had time even to look at it! :) Not always easy to figure out how things work; when I started quilting it took me some time to figure out how to cut fabrics with that long ruler! lol
ReplyDeleteHave a nice day!
