I did not have a very productive month at all! My sewing machine went for a service and with all the rain we have been getting the last while, the electricity isn't playing along as well. The result is that:
- I have made very little progress on the embroidery project
- I haven't done any sewing
- except for planning my next quilt, I haven't done any quilting or cutting
Dus, in plaas daarvan dat ek vir julle kwiltwerk foto's wys, wys ek eerder vir julle foto's van die oulike hond wat ons buurvrou oppas. Die hond is vroeër die jaar langs die pad opgetel en sy eienaars het nog nie na hom kom soek nie. Buurvrou pas nou vir "Pooch" op, totdat hulle vir hom 'n nuwe huis kan kry. Pooch het homself baie tuis gemaak tussen my en buurvrou en het reeds by elke huis 'n kombersie om op te lê en al sy gunstelling lê-plekke in die huis is ook uitgekies...
So, instead of showing you quilting pictures, I am going to show you pictures of the cute dog that our neigbour is looking after. The dog was found on the streets earlier the year and his owners still haven't come to claim him. Our neighbour is looking after "Pooch" until a new home is found for him. Pooch already made himself home between the neigbours and us. At both houses he has a blanket to sleep on and all his favourite snooze-spots have also been chosen around the house...
